Forrest Hodges Operations,Inc (FHO) was established in 2006. We are a complete full service logging company with our own truck fleet along with long term contract trucks.
We offer a complete professional staff of certified foresters, pro logger certified logging crews with over 600 years combined experience. We are fully mechanized & insured, and able to provide COI’s upon request.

Meet the Team
Forrest Hodges
Forrest Hodges is the owner of Forrest Hodges Operations, Inc (FHO). He grew up in the small community of Forest,Texas where he spent his summers and weekends working for his grandfather’s logging, and cattle company. After graduating from Wells High School and Angelina College, he started his own logging company in December 2006 at the age of 19.He has a positive attitude and tireless energy, always encouraging others to work hard and succeed.
Forrest and his wife Amber dated four years before marrying in August of 2009. They live in Jacksonville, Tx with their 2 children, Gauge and Addison.
Mark Hayes
Bachelor of business administration with a emphasis in finance, from the University of Texas at Tyler.
18 years experience including mining, forestry, and other industrial applications. Purchases timber from private and company landowners. Lives in Rusk, Texas with his wife Karrie and son Jaxson.
Carmen Montgomery
Graduated from Angelina College in 1987 and Tyler Junior College in 1991.
Carmen worked as an administrative nurse before coming to work for FHO as office manager in June of 2011. She has three children, two grandchildren, and lives in Alto,Tx with her husband Johnny and son Caden.
Jason Wallace
Graduated Stephen F. Austin in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management and Sam Houston State University in 2008 with a Masters of Business Administration. Jason grew up in North Central Texas prior to moving to East Texas. During his 25 year forestry career he has managed corporate timberland, procured timber, managed mill log budgets and deliveries, was a group forestry analyst for GP, and overseen multiple harvesting operations.
Jason and his wife Jill live in Huntsville,Tx.
